EtherStax I/O Blocks

EtherStax I/O blocks provide a rugged,

high-density solution to interface many

analog or discrete signals to your control

system. Modbus TCP/UDP/IP support

enables reliable host data transfer or

peer-to-peer communication. Web-based

configuration simplifies setup with any

web browser. For OEM systems requiring

special mounting, enclosureless versions

are available. EtherStax are ideal for a

broad range of monitoring and control

or SCADA applications.

Rugged, Industrial-Grade Design

EtherStax are designed for high-reliability

operation in hostile environments. Units

are shock/vibration-resistant and feature

3-way isolation with surge protection.

I/O circuitry has over-temperature, over-

voltage, and over-current protection.

Redundant Power & Communication

Self-healing, redundant communication

paths support dual copper or fiber-optic

media. Dual DC power connections

for battery backup ensure dependable

operation. If host communication is lost,

outputs fail safely and a relay provides

local alarming or shutdown functions.

Stackable, High-Density I/O

Get up to 96 channels on a single unit

to monitor sensors, control devices, or

add local alarms. Aluminum enclosures

interlock for secure stacking that saves

space mounting on a surface or rail.

i2o peer-to-peer communication

Input channels on one unit can write

directly to outputs on another unit

without a host controller in between.
