Acromag offers a full line of process
alarms for many applications. These units
monitor your setpoint limits for various
process parameters and trip a relay to
govern actions under alarm conditions.
Typical uses involve triggering warning
lights, audible alarms, or data loggers.
Alarms can also turn devices on/off or
open/close valves. Advanced applications
are able to detect a deviation between
two signals, a rapid change in measured
values, or even capture a peak value for
a process.
Countless options accommodate avail-
able power sources, input signal types,
and relay connections. Flexible deadband
and delay adjustments filter out noise
and relay chatter to prevent false trips.
Other features include user-selectable
failsafe modes, and latching relays.
From the programmable IntelliPack
series to the economical Flat Pack fam-
ily, Acromag has an alarm unit to satisfy
most application requirements. Other
cost-effective alternatives are transmit-
ters with integrated alarms or remote
I/O modules for Modbus networks with
built-in trips for local alarm functions.
