These multi-purpose signal processor
modules feature universal input/output
ranges and an intelligent microcontroller
to provide an extremely flexible and
powerful standalone math computation
device.
Common uses include mathematical
calculations involving single or multiple
process variables, flow integrator/totalizer
functions, and conditional analysis with
boolean logic. Computations are output
as process signals, pulses, or pulse-width
modulated waveforms.
Math Functions
• Add, subtract, multiply, divide
• Square root, exponent (e
n
), power (X
n
)
• Logarithmic (natural and base 10)
• Sine, cosine, tangent, and inverse
• Absolute value
• Minimum/maximum
• IF, THEN, ELSE, AND, OR
• , , , , ,
• Input scaling
• High/low signal selector/discriminator
• Track and hold
• Integrator/totalizer
Windows software configuration
makes setup fast and easy. Equations
are entered as in a typical spreadsheet.
Diagnostics let you test equations and
display input/output values in engineer-
ing units in the configuration software.
You can even simulate conditions in the
configuration software. A simulation
window provides instant feedback to test
your equations so you can see the output
response before the actual installation.
Inputs
• DC voltage
• DC current
• AC current
Outputs
• DC current/voltage (0-10V or 0-20mA)
• Frequency (0-10KHz)
• Pulse (10-36000 counts per hour)
• Limit alarm (relay)
Power
• 10-36V DC
Approvals
• CE, UL/cUL Class I Div 2 Groups ABCD
